THE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM AT FINE ORTHODONTICS HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO REDUCE WAIT TIMES AND MAXIMISE YOUR CONSULTATION TIME WITH DR. FINE.

When You Arrive at Our Surgery

When you arrive, you can check-in using our handy computer service, or speak to one of the receptionists who will advise Dr. Fine that you are ready for your appointment.

Before and After-School Appointments

We understand that younger patients may need an appointment before or after school, and we are happy to accommodate them.

We reserve our early morning and later afternoon time-slots for shorter appointments, such as adjustments or check-ups. Most orthodontic appointments are short. You can book other times of the day for longer appointments, such as the fitting and removal of braces, doctor consultations, or more complex adjustments.

If you require a medical certificate for school or work, just let us know and our team will be happy to provide one.

LATE

ARRIVALS

If you are running late for your appointment, but it still falls within your scheduled slot, please report to the receptionist as soon as you arrive. We will advise if you can go ahead with your original consultation, or if you will need to book another appointment.

Should you arrive after your allocated time, we will need to reschedule.

CANCELING

AN APPOINTMENT

We understand that unforeseen circumstances do arise, and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Please call the practice as soon as you know you won’t be able to attend and we will arrange an alternative time.

The more notice you are able to give us, the more likely we are to find a time and date that suits you and doesn’t delay your treatment.

REPAIR

APPOINTMENT

Once your orthodontic appliance has been fitted, you will receive care instructions to ensure it remains in the best possible condition.

If your appliances breaks and requires an additional appointment, this will likely delay your orthodontic treatment overall.

If your appliance is broken or damaged, please book a repair appointment immediately. If the repair requires a complex adjustment, it could take some time.
